palazzo-versace5

Dubai, UAE:Dubai’s Palazzo Versace hotel, which is currently under construction, will feature refrigerated sand on its beach to protect the feet of its wealthy guests from the searing summer heat, when daytime temperatures soar to as high as 50C (122F).

We will suck the heat out of the sand to keep it cool enough to lie on. – Soheil Abedian, founder and president of Palazzo Versace.
