Brides and Grooms Behaving Badly

Embarrassing drunken behavior at and around weddings is not altogether uncommon. What would a wedding be without an inappropriate speech from a drunk uncle or the old school friend who never quite succeeded in life; it is the rare wedding or bachelor party at which it doesn’t happen. When the bride or groom are involved, however, one can’t help but feel a little bit sorry for their significant other who wakes up the next day to realize what they just signed up for.

Groom-to-be Arrested After Bachelor Party Mischief Ends With Assault on Sheriff’s Deputy

A Washington groom-to-be and two of his friends found themselves in jail over bachelor party antics that went wrong.

According to Sgt. Dave Reagan of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, police were called after an “incident” that occurred on early Sunday morning. It is alleged that 22-year-old Shad Armstrong, jumped repeatedly on a car in the parking lot of the Goodtymes Pub.

This led to a fight between Armstrong, 24-year old Kershawn Grigsby, the 27-year-old groom-to-be, Brandon Peterson and others. Police were called to the scene after a sheriff’s deputy, who had attempted to stop the fight, but was pushed by the combatants.

The deputy and two men who were involved in the scuffle were treated in hospital for cuts and bruises, while the brawling bachelor party-goers were charged with third-degree assault on law enforcement and intimidation of a public servant and hauled off to jail. Johnson was also charged with causing malicious mischief.

Unconscious Bride Rescued From Car After Wedding Night With Crate Of Vodka

A 30-year-old bride in Cologne, Germany had to be rescued from the back seat of a BMW that was overheating in the midday sun. She was found passed out next to a crate of vodka.

Police smashed a window to get her out, but it still took shaking her several times to raise her from her inebriated slumber. She emerged from the window, dazed and still wearing in her wedding dress, uncertain of where her husband or the car keys were.

Final Thought

Annulments are a lot cheaper than divorces.
