Russian Porn Hackers Sauce Up Giant Billboard

A giant television screen used as a billboard was hacked to turn a street in central Moscow into a makeshift pornographic theater.

Metro reports that the saucy display caused a traffic jam as motorists stopped to take a look.

Viktor Laptev, commercial director of advertising firm Panno.ru who owns the screen told the state-run RIA news agency that he believed that hackers had accessed the screen’s computer system and loaded the porn.

As for a possible motivation, Laptev speculated:

They were either acting out of hooliganism or were from a rival company.

An investigation is currently underway.
