Washington Bloodmobile Comes Up With The Greatest Marketing Idea Ever

In what can only be described as the greatest marketing idea ever, Cascade Regional Blood Services in Tacoma, Washington has guaranteed they’ll see a huge increase in residents donating blood.

Their plan?

Give a pint of blood, get a pint of beer.

Beautiful in it’s simplicity, yet a lock to be highly effective and successful.  Donors age 21 or over are given a coupon for a free pint of beer when they donate a pint of the red stuff.  The coupon can then be redeemed at local pubs and restaurants, but only after the blood drive has been over for at least four hours.

It’s a win-win situation for everyone.  The blood center gets more donors, and local businesses receive more patronage.

In a nutshell–brilliant.
