TSA Worker Broke Out Baton Over Body-scanner-related Genital Jibes

A member of the Miami International Airport security team is on administrative leave after he used a baton to beat a colleague who made light of the size of his package after he walked through a scanner.

Forty-four-year-old Rolando Negrin was arrested over the alleged assault, which took place earlier this week.

In the police report, Negrin revealed that since walking through a whole-body image scanner during a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) he had been taunted “daily” about the size of his member.

It would seem that on the fateful day, Mr Negrin had heard enough of Hugo Osorno’s jibes. He confronted him in an airport parking lot, pulled out a police baton and ordered the 34-year-old to get down on his knees and apologize.

Presumably Osorno’s apology was sub-par, as Negrin told the investigating officers that he simply, “could not take the jokes any more and lost his mind”.

Police charged Negrin with aggravated battery, meanwhile he has been suspended by the TSA, where an internal investigation into the incident is currently underway. While I sympathize with Negrin over his situation, I’m guessing that there could be a light at the end of the tunnel – after all, the last time I checked sexual harassment claims were totally recession-proof.
