A 17-year-old wrestler from Fresno County is facing a charge of sexual battery after he employed an unsavory yet widely used technique in a match against a 14-year-old.
The move in question is called a “butt drag” and it involves grabbing your opponent by the buttock and sticking fingers into his or her anus to gain the leverage
needed to drag them. The wrestler in question, we’ll just call him Preston (his surname is not important), performed a “butt drag” during a practice match against his younger opponent in July – the problem was not the move itself but the vigorous nature in which it was applied. It has been said that Preston’s fingers were pressed deep into the younger wrestler’s rectum causing quite a bit of pain.
Preston has been offered a deal whereby the case will be dismissed if he does nothing wrong for the next few months. However, his lawyer has indicated that he is likely to reject the deal because he doesn’t feel like he has done anything wrong.
Seriously, I’m a little disturbed that there is a widely used wrestling move that involves sticking one’s fingers into his or her opponent’s anus, but if it is widely in use and you want to be a wrestler then that is what you sign up for. You take the good with the bad or you choose another sport. Yes, some might find it a little bit gross – but it doesn’t strike me as something that needs to be settled in a court of law.

Gotta agree with DsGold, and anyone who says “yes, that is an oft-used move” is either stupid, or insane. Wrestling is one of the toughest sports out there(after mma, boxing etc.)

It is all about the beat down with skill and tactic. A wrestler totally dislikes homosexuals. People sure the hell don’t stick anything up anyone elses arse. The kid was just a pussy and couldn’t take the pain. Because it hurts like hell. And I am a coach and only teach a certain few kids this move. And it is used in very limited situations. And you only grab the butt cheek not an arse hole!!
