Getting struck by lightning is a rare occurrence. Chances are 1 in 10000 you’ll get hit by that electric bolt from the sky once in your lifetime. But to be struck by lightning in the scrotum… chances of that have to near to impossible.
But it’s what happened to a 53-year old man in Spain. While walking in Madrid with his son he was hit in the scrotum by lightning, which then traveled down his leg before hitting the ground.
His son called paramedics who found the man unconscious on the ground. A medical examination showed the man’s heart and brain are fine, however, there’s no mention regarding damage to the area targeted by the bolt.
Hopefully, this man doesn’t have anything to feel guilty about… otherwise this lighting strike might be viewed as a message from above. [Source]
