This is amazingly cool and amazingly terrifying all at the same time.
Garrett MacNamara, the current Guiness Book of World Records holder for surfer of biggest wave ever (maybe he should be named big wave whisperer), has successfully surfer a 100-foot wave in Portugal and is now awaiting verification from the world records people.
Yeah, 100-feet, as in a wave that’s the same height as a 10-story building.
Really it’s got to be equal parts of insanity and courage that gets this big waver surf dude to attempt these things but he did and now you can watch it on video.
Most people would run and hide. Not this guy. Wow. Just wow.
