Management of Vienna’s famous Albertina are understandable disappointed that U.S. pop singer Beyonce sent a stand-in to a personal tour. A lookalike went in her place and was photographed with the museum’s manager while she hit the Viennese high streets for some shopping.

Said Albertina spokeswoman Verena Dahlitz:

What a cheek! We were a little doubtful yesterday, but weren’t really sure. It could have been her.


Beyonce’s concert received very mixed reviews, however, it should be noted that German and Austrian tastes in popular music have historically been a little different.
