UPDATE: It seems that Ms. Cartwright has kept herself busy since she was released on a suspended sentence and has been charged with breaching her ASBO again.
A 48-year-old British woman has been jailed for breaching an anti-social behavior order (ASBO) three times in ten days. The ASBO was issued after Caroline Cartwright and husband Steve’s loud lovemaking sessions attracted more than 25 noise complaints from neighbors, it forbids her from making excessive noise anywhere in Britain.
Police arrested Cartwright after she breached the ASBO for the third time since it was issued on April 17. She was then remanded in custody.
According to neighbor Rachel O’Connor, who was disturbed by the sounds:
I heard sounds of a sexual nature, they were really loud, and there was a lot of moaning and groaning and screaming as if in pain. It wasn’t just the woman, it came from both parties.
The couple have shown little sign of slowing down, Rachel O’Connor noted that when she moved into the apartment in 2007, the boisterous sessions would start at midnight and proceed until 3 a.m. In recent days, they would start at 6:30 a.m. and continue until 9:00. [Daily Mail]
