German Woman Has Three Crashes In One Hour

usedom-heringsdorf-okt2004A 69-year-old German woman from Berlin was involved in three crashes in one hour, but only driving for two of them. Whilst leaving a supermarket car park on the Island of Usedom, she crashed into three cars. Next, she accidentally engaged the accelerator, causing her to crash into a nearby house; an accident which required her hospitalization. Unfortunately, the ambulance was hit by a truck on the way to hospital.

According to Zinnowitz police spokesman Axel Falkenberg:

She was actually fortunate that no one was seriously hurt in any of the accidents.The accidents were a little bit like dominoes toppling.
