The cassette tape skeleton is the work of artist Brian Dettmer, who displayed it at the International Museum of Surgical Science. There is a lot more to this cassette tape skeleton than meets the eye. A closer inspection reveals some highly appropriate tape choices making it so much more than a simple, “tape is dead,” statement.
