Burbank Employee Sentenced to Six Months for Pirating The Love Guru

A former employee of the Burbank distribution company has been sentenced to six months jail for uploading a copy of The Love Guru onto the Internet.
The thought of jail and/or fines clearly did not sit well with Jack Yates, who quickly offered investigators a range of other potential suspects, including his own grandmother.

According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Erik M. Silber:

Yates subsequently blamed his grandmother, saying that he showed the movie at her birthday party and she then gave it away to a cousin who gave it to a friend who was the former roommate of the man who is believed to have uploaded the movie, but has not yet been charged.
