Some people will go to great lengths to get their hands on drugs.
Let’s take Angelo Colon of Fulton for example. Police busted him for attempting to buy some crack cocaine–with a slaughtered pig.
Mr.Colon was a little short on a $50 bag of crack he was attempting to purchase from a Mr.Omar Veliz. So Angelo got a little creative.
He offered Veliz $10 and half a slaughtered pig for the drugs…an offer Veliz accepted.
Police arrested the men shortly after the deal went down. Veliz told police the pig was for a celebration for a relative being released from prison.
And if being arrested for misdemeanor drug possession (Colon) and felony drug sale charges (Veliz), the unthinkable happened.
Someone stole the pig.
Police are unsure if the suspects have lawyers. I say if half a slaughtered pig is involved in a drug deal, then chances are good neither guy has the means to retain their own legal council. [Yahoo, Image]
