Man Allegedly Paddles To U.S. Beach With Mexican Pot On Surfboard

A man was arrested after being after allegedly trying to paddle onto a U.S. beach with 24 pounds of marijuana on his surfboard.
The man was spotted in the water about 200 yards from Imperial Beach by Border Patrol officers. The Border Patrol allege that the man dumped a blue duffel bag into the water when he was ordered to come ashore. However, the bag later washed ashore, still holding 24 pounds of pot. [AP]
