While husband Bernie awaits sentencing for his $65 billion ponzi scheme, Ruth Madoff, has had a dramatic fall from grace.
Riding the subway is just one of many indignities that have been inflicted upon the former high flier. Gone is the couple’s Florida mansion, French Riviera chateau and yachts. She has also lost access to her hair stylist, after owner Pierre Michel banned her from his salon. Though it is not all bad, she has kept the luxury East-side apartment.

Are you having fun embarrassing me – and ruining my life?

Though she enjoyed many of the fruits of her husband’s fraud, and worked at his investment firm, Ruth Madoff has not been charged with any crime. [Daily Mail]
