According to officials at Legoland Discovery Center on Potsdamer Platz, Berlin, the 30cm-long tail of a giant Lego giraffe has been stolen four times since 2007.

The cost of replacing the tail of the six-meter tall model giraffe, which is made of 15,000 Lego bricks and takes about a week for model workers to rebuild, is estimated to be about $4,300.
