Minneapolis man, Dennis LeRoy Anderson was sentenced to two years of probation for the drunk driving of a motorized La-Z-Boy chair that had been treated to a number of modifications.
Anderson, whose blood alcohol level was 0.29 (three times the legal limit) when he crashed into a parked car on his way home from a bar, had fitted his chair with a lawnmower engine, headlights, a stereo and a steering system. He admitted to drinking eight or nine beers before the accident.
Although Anderson escaped jail, he had to give up the chair, which will be sold at a police auction some time in the future.

What is the legal blood alcohol limit where he is from? That would be almost six times the legal limit here (and rightly so).
I have the feeling that it is .08, with a little bit of tolerance – probably just as close to 4 times as it is to 3.
Where I live it is 0 for teachers and public servants and 0.03 for everyone else.
