Newest Craze–Boob Jobs for Dogs

Submitted by JeffG on Thursday, 26 November 2009One Comment | Google Buzz |

labrador-chocolate-cobberAs we age, many of us could use a lift, tuck or injection to help take off a few years.  You know what?  So can our dogs.

A pair of rescue dogs, Emma and Morgan, both chocolate labs, recently had a little cosmetic surgery of their own, in order to make them more appealing to potential owners.

The procedure–breast lifts.

If you’re picturing these dogs with Pam Anderson sized boobs under their fur,  you’re way, way off.

The dogs suffered from sagging folds of skin after years of overbreeding–to the point that their teats almost touched the ground.  The overbreeding is usually done by “unscrupulous” owners looking to make some cash off the lab puppies.

And it seems the surgery worked.  Shortly after the procedure, both once-abandoned labs were adopted by new owners.  They now reside in new, loving homes.
