When police arrived at a potential crime scene on a busy road Gold Coast of Australia, they expected the worst. Emergency services had been swamped with calls reporting a man dressed in camouflage carrying an assault rifle. Later calls said that he seemed to have shot himself.

As it turned out, the man was an actor and the gun was plastic. According to The Australian, the film crew was working on the M1 motorway, one of the busiest roads in the state of Queensland, without a permit.

A police officer joked:

He’s probably lucky he wasn’t introduced to the real Mr Glock
