Pot Grower Fooled Into Turning Self In By Marijuana “Ransom Note”

Florida detectives claim to have tricked a marijuana grower into turning himself in to authorities by leaving a ransom note for six pot plants that they confiscated.

According to Komo News, after finding the plants in a wooded lot, detectives from the sheriff’s office in Monroe County left a note, which read:

Thanks for the grow! You want them back? Call for the price.

Just ten minutes later, Steven Alan Locasio called the number and is said to have offered $200 for the plants and arranged a time and place to make the exchange; where he was arrested on drug charges.
