Post-accidental Urination Electrocutes One

Montesano, Washington: A man who accidentally urinated on a live power line has died.

Straits Times reports that 50-year-old Roy Messenger escaped a collision with a power pole without serious injury – only to electrocute himself when he urinated in a ditch at the accident scene. He had not realized that the ditch contained a live wire.

Messenger was found by family members a short time later.
