SWAT Team Rounds Up Alaskan Pizza Bandits

Anchorage, Alaska: A SWAT team was called in to arrest a gang of pizza thieves that had barricaded themselves in a home after their robbery went wrong.

The standoff occurred on Sunday night when a pizza delivery man encountered a man armed with a gun and a stick. The Kansas City Star reports that he said that he was then attacked from behind by three other people who took his pizza but left his money.

The pizza bandits’ plan came unravelled when the delivery man followed one of the alleged attackers to a home, where she was arrested by police. Her alleged co-conspirators decided to barricade the home, which is why the SWAT team was called.

In the end, Joseph Nicalaskey and Cesar Alvarez-Jennings both 19 were arrested and charged with robbery and assault, along with two girls who have as of yet not been named.
