Escaped Convicts Evade Manhunt by Dressing as Sheep

This is a move right out of the Wile E. Coyote playbook, and it seems to be working out for these two escapees better than it ever did for Wile E.

Maximiliano Pereyra and Ariel Diaz busted out of an Argentinian maximum security prison a week ago, and have been able to evade police capture since, thanks to a bit of clever subterfuge.  Making their way to a local farm, the pair snatched a couple of sheepskin fleeces, complete with heads, and proceeded to hide out amongst the flock.

And like I said, it’s worked so far.

Pereyra and Diaz have managed to baffle the 300 or so cops looking for them amid the thousands of sheep in the flock.  The police are confident they’ll eventually capture the convicts, saying, “they can’t pull the wool over our eyes forever.”

As long as they can avoid being caught by the cops, the only other thing the escapees have to worry about is wolves…and amorous farmers.
