Teen Electrified Nipples and Stopped Heart For Mountain Dew Supply

Dover, New Hampshire: A teenager placed electrical clamps on his nipples on a dare in a bid to earn Mountain Dew every day for the rest of the school year.

The shock that 18-year-old Kyle DuBois received after he attached the clamps to his nipples was enough to stop his heart. His teacher Thomas Kelley, who is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation, told how DuBois collapsed and curled up into fetal position. Kelley performed CPR on DuBois, a move which possibly saved the boy’s life.

Classmates claim that Kelley encouraged the stunt, and even offered the Mountain Dew in question as a reward. Kelley denied the charges and suggested that he tried to discourage the prank. Police have since closed their investigation and released tapes of separate interviews with both DuBois and Kelley.

“The one thing I remember him saying is, ‘What will you give me if I clip these to my nipples?’ ‘Nothing.’ ‘Give me a Mountain Dew, Kelley,’”

Without Kelley’s assistance, DuBois could have earned himself a well-deserved Darwin award, but he seems a likable enough guy and it is hard not to be sympathetic.
