The Geezer Bandit strikes again

A notorious bank robber nicknamed the Geezer Bandit because of his elderly appearance has struck for a 10th time.

The man appears to be in his 60s or 70s, and has raided a string of banks in the San Diego area since last August.

He has been seen at one robbery with tubes like those used to administer medicinal oxygen, inserted in his nostrils. The most recent bank robbery saw him walk into a branch of US Bank, pull out a revolver and hand a demand note before fleeing with an undisclosed sum of cash.

Now, I’m not sure about you, but my 70 year old father couldn’t run from a bank heist if his life depended on it. Certainly not with nostril tubes inserted to help his lungs.

Local authorities beleive it may be a disguise. I’m sure it looks better writing that on the incident report instead of how a 70 year old geriatric man with lung disease got away…. 10 times.
