Stay in the boat! Gator “feeding frenzy” in Georgia

Apparently the mob of hungry alligators in this video numbers around 300. While I am not in a position to confirm or deny the accuracy of the count, it is pretty safe to say that you don’t want to be swimming anywhere in Stephen C. Foster State Park.

The unusually dense population concentration is a result of low swamp water levels. The reptiles are being pushed into closer proximity to one another and as a result, they have started to feed communally. [Asylum]
