A toddler’s attempts to get a toy prize has landed him a heap of trouble.

The boy had to be rescued from the vending machine full of stuffed toys after he climbed through the prize chute, and got stuck inside.

Witnesses say while the boy’s worried mother stood outside the machine, the boy happily played with the toys for about 15 minutes.

Police and centre management were called to the bizarre scene, but it was only when an employee of the vending machine company arrived that the glass panel box could be unlocked.

Manager Russell Mitchell-Smith, of the Raintree Shopping Center, in Cairns, Australia said

We didn’t get the chance to take details of the family, once he was out his mother grabbed the boy and took off, she was saying to her son, ‘How did you get in there’?
