Aussie Robber: not the ‘sharpest tool in the shed’

Ever considered what you’d do if someone stole your mobile (cell) phone?

One person in Queensland, Australia, is enjoying the sweet taste of revenge after setting a trap for a thief who broke into his car and swiped his phone.

When the victim decided to try calling his phone, to his surprise, the thief answered.

Not content with breaking and entering, as well as theft, he obviously thought extortion would be clever. He told the victim he’d return the phone and other stolen items at an agreed rendezvous point in Toowoomba, west of Brisbane, but only if the victim came up with some cash.

The quick thinking victim contacted police, and when the thief showed up to collect his bounty, police swooped.
