Governator nails Palin via Twitter jibe

Californian governor Arnold Schwarzenegger unleashed some of the dry wit that you may remember from such films as Commando while aboard his jet yesterday – and it was directed at none other than former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

So what did he say?

Over Anchorage, AK. Looking everywhere but can’t see Russia from here. Will keep you updated as search continues.

The corresponding picture (above) shows him searching out of the window of what we can only assume is his private jet.

Way back in 2008, an eternity ago in Internet years, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin tried to explain that Alaska’s proximity to Russia gave her de facto foreign policy experience in an ABC interview:

They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.

She was explaining that Alaska’s proximity to Russia gave her de facto foreign policy experience – touche Herr Schwarzenegger.
