Advertising executives with big visions, and presumably bigger budgets, have come up with a novel idea to advertise the popular Audi motor vehicles.
The gurus from Access Agency are pitching the idea to the Audi marketing department with the view of re inventing the concept of an advertising billboard.
They want to ‘hang’ the vehicles inside the four Audi rings, from world famous landmarks like Brooklyn Bridge in New York, Rialto Bridge in Venice, the Tower Bridge in London, and the world famous ‘coat-hanger, the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
One would be excused for thinking that the executives had over indulged on a liquid lunch. I’m assuming they didn’t because advertising executives are far too professional for that, or so I’m led to believe.
The campaign is only in a conceptual form at the moment, but sources say that Audi is serious about having real cars, dangling from real bridges, creating a real spectacle.
It remains to be seen if the idea is given the green light, but if it does, industry sources claim its likely to be one ‘of the most widespread and popular automotive ad campaigns of all time’……… not to mention expensive
