A word to the wise… if you don’t want your loved one dug up from their grave better make sure the hospital put the right dentures back in their head.
That’s the mistake that is causing the exhumation of a 76-year old Tennessee man. Kenneth Ray Manis, who died on June 12, was buried with the dentures of the man who shared his Chattanooga hospital room.
After learning another man’s denture (who is not being identified) were in Manis’ coffin, the family requested they be removed.
The Chattanooga hospital is apologizing for the mistake, replacing the dentures and paying for the reburial and all attorney fees.
Sink your teeth into that one. [MSNBC]
