Man goes fishing, hooks scuba diver

He thought he caught the big one. But it wasn’t the big one he wanted.

In fact, when 61-year old John Goldfinch’s fishing pole bent and reeled, what he pulled in was a scuba diver. Goldfinch had hooked the diver by his crotch and would have pulled him in if it wasn’t for help from his girlfriend.

“The funniest thing was that his girlfriend then surfaced, helped him remove my tackle from his tackle and nonchalantly handed the hook back to me and apologized,” he says.
