11-year-old Girl’s Feet Judged America’s Stinkiest

Montpelier, Vermont: The sneakers of an 11-year-old Connecticut girl have been judged the most vile in America.

Trinette Robinson, was given the unenviable title at the 35th annual National Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest. Judges deemed her sneakers to be most rotten based on both their condition and their odor. She said that she had befouled them at Girl Scout Camp and in community walks for charity.

There is, however, a sweet side to having stinky feet. Miss Robinson’s odiferous footwear scored her $2,500 and an expenses-paid trip to New York City; not that she had much competition – The Sun Sentinel reports that only nine other kids aged 6-16 took part in the contest.
