We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who knows how to rise to the occasion…
We want writers, people who have a sense of humor and know a good story when they see one. If this sounds like you and you are interested in making a few extra bucks each month entertaining the masses, then here is what you need to do:

1. Submit a story: using our “Submit News” button at the top of the page. Your story will go live once we have approved it. We will judge you both on the quality of the writing and how well it engages our audience. You can make more than one submission if you wish.

If you already have a blog that deals with weird news, then there is no need to write an article, just give us a link.

2. Send us an email: we don’t need your life story or a resume, we just need to know a little about you and what makes you tick. If you have any links to other stuff you have published then feel free to include them.

That’s it – if you have a passion for weird news and know your way around the Internet, why not give it a try?

Details

For the first month we are looking for two articles on each Thursday and Friday (EST) – for a total of 16 articles. During that time we will work with you to teach you the idiosyncrasies of our style and how to find your way around the back-end of our site.

The first month pays $80.

Once you have completed your first month, the posting schedule will switch to four posts on a fixed day of each week (the day is negotiable) – for a total of 16 articles.

From the second month you will be paid $100 per month (plus bonuses for popular articles).

It isn’t huge money, but it is a huge amount of fun.
