Police Charity seeks help from Porn Industry

Queensland Police Commissioner Bob Atkinson is somewhat redfaced after learning that one of the Police Forces Charity events was sponsored by an adult entertainment venue.

As a result, the commissioner has warned all officers to be aware of sponsorship protocol, reminding fund raisers within the force that sponsorship by the adult entertainment industry was against the police service’s policy.

The balls, probably an unfortunate name under the circumstances, were organised by the state’s central region to raise funds for community rescue services.

Mr Atkinson reminded all staff that before sponsorship arrangements are made they must consider the force’s reputation within the community.

The Queensland Police Service said they did not benefit in any way from the event, which, to me , seems pointless having it if the service didn’t benefit.

No truth to the rumour either that the Playboy Bunnies seen patronising the event were police officers working ‘undercover’. Perhaps I should re word that?
