An infographic from Newsweek provides terrifying food for thought about the reality of life for Chile’s trapped miners. Imagine if everything that you needed to survive for the next two to three months had to be less than 3.19 inches in diameter. Imagine spending a quarter of a year without sunlight, 2,230 feet underground. It is the sort of thing that puts the “bad day at work” claims that people make every day sharply into perspective.
