Dozens of couples in the South American country of Guyana will have to repeat divorce proceedings when it was discovered that lawyers, with the help of court officials, had forged court documents to speed up divorces.
Police have launched an investigation, but newly retired Attorney General Doodnauth Singh has stated that marriages of those that had remarried would probably be recognized. [Metro]
