james_brewerA 58-year-old Tennessee man could face the death penalty for a crime that he confessed to when he thought that he was going to die from a stroke.

James Brewer confessed to gunning down his neighbor Jimmy Carrol 32 years ago, when he believed that Carrol was trying to seduce his wife. Brewer was originally arrested and charged with the murder in 1977, but skipped bail, moving to Oklahoma where he changed his name to Michael Anderson. Brewer has since recovered from the stroke and been arrested.
