Funny–tricking your friends into thinking you’ve fallen off a bridge.
Not funny–actually falling into the Minnesota River.
A 23 year old man is in stable condition after falling into the icy Minnesota River following a prank whereby he pretended to fall off the bridge.
Not-so-surprisingly, alcohol was involved.
The friend who called 911 told police that the man had to urinate, so he pulled over into the bridge’s emergency lane. The man then climbed to the ledge of the bridge before falling.
The Eagan Fire Department rescued the man using a chair lift. He was then transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. [AOL, Image]
