The iSoft team has done the unthinkable, using an untouched Windows 95 image and the Bochs emulator, they have managed to stick Windows 95 on an iPhone.

The boot time is an appalling 5-10 minutes, but the team is hoping for some improved performance from the new 3GS.

The answer to the question that you are dying to ask is, “because they can.” Next on the agenda for the team, is Windows XP.
