One Year Probation For Chinese Democracy

gnrU.S. District Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams has spared blogger Kevin Cogill a custodial prison term for leaking part of the Guns N’ Roses album Chinese Democracy online.

Cogill was ordered to serve two months under home detention followed by a year of probation. He is also required to “subject his computers to government scrutiny” and record a public service announcement for the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Cogill was not fined for his actions, which authorities estimated as costing more than $371,000.

It is nice to see GNR back. It was too long time since “Use Your Illusion”. This album is not that good, but still shows that Axel is back on the track.
