A 500-pound inmate in Texas has been charged with possession of a firearm in a correctional facility after telling a prison guard that he had concealed a gun within the rolls of his abdominal fat.
Twenty-five-year-old George Vera, who was originally arrested for selling pirated CDs, has since been charged with possession of a firearm in a correctional facility. Searches conducted at a city jail and Harris County Jail failed to find the unloaded 9mm pistol.
