Mile-high Fight Club: Flight Crew Suspended Over Mid-flight Fisticuffs

The pilot and cabin crew of Air India flight IC-884 have been suspended pending an inquiry after the pilot, co-pilot and two flight attendants (one male and one female) became involved in a physical altercation during a flight.

According to members of the cabin crew, the incident began when the captain harassed a 24-year-old female flight attendant, which prompted Steward Amit Khanna to attempt to extract an apology with his fists. The female flight attendant in question has since filed a molestation complaint.

The pilots dispute the story and allege that Khanna’s actions endangered everyone aboard the flight. They deny the molestation charge, claiming that it was made in order to protect Khanna, who punched the co-pilot after being told off.
