Pregnant Stripper Gets Probation For Stiletto Assault

A pregnant stripper in Akron, Ohio, was given probation for hitting a 52-year-old dancer with her own stiletto.

The attorney for Chetania Davis said that his client was defending herself when she snatched Jo Nolan’s heel from her foot and used it to strike her head, causing multiple lacerations. Seven staples were required to close her wounds. The injury was reported by staff at the Akron General Medical Center.

The altercation occurred after Nolan allegedly spent more than fifteen minutes in a dressing room, causing other dancers, including Davis, to wait.

Davis was originally charged with felonious assault, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of eight years in prison; the charge was reduced by the prosecutor’s office to misdemeanor assault in return for a guilty plea.

Judge Alison McCarty suspended a six-month jail sentence and placed Davis on probation for one year. She also fined Davis $150 and ordered her to pay $500 to Nolan for medical expenses.

Davis has said that she intends to remain in College and no longer wishes to work as an exotic dancer.
