Florida Man Arrested for Car Theft and Being Ironic

Well, we all understand that being ironic is not illegal (yet).  Irony in and of itself is delicious, even moreso when it pertains to your subsequent arrest.

Michael Ray Ekes, 30, was nabbed in Central Florida, after police found a stolen 1998 Dodge Durango parked outside a home in which Ekes was residing.

Cue the irony.

When police busted into the house to arrest our alleged car thief, they found Ekes–playing “Grand Theft Auto.”  Which is what he was eventually charged with, along with burglary and drug possession.

Now that he won’t be playing “Grand Theft Auto” for a while, Ekes can practice that always fun prison game–“Don’t Drop the Soap.”
