Footage captured by a local resident shows an interesting confrontation between a passerby and a pair of suspected car thieves.
The almost comical nature of the confrontation and the ease at which our good Samaritan takes care of the thugs makes it look as if the event could be staged. However, the police that appear at the end of the video are real, leading me to conclude that this is probably genuine.
Note: We originally thought that this event had taken place in Finland. However, we have reason to believe that the information on which that assumption was based is incorrect. If anyone can help us identify the location, we will be very grateful.

If the cops weren’t in it at the end I would definitely agree with you and it still could be, but also remember that the camera is zoomed in from a fair distance away, which has a bit of a distorting effect on the video. Furthermore, the conditions are icy – which definitely restricts movement.
