Teen Accused Of Hiring High School Hitman To Murder “Strict” Mom

The teenage son of a murdered woman has been charged with capital murder after he allegedly hired a classmate to carry out her killing.

News.com reports that 17-year-old Danish Moazzam Minhas admitted to police that he hired his classmate, 18-year-old Nur J. Mohamed to kill his mother because she was “strict” and “controlling”.

Police say that Mohamed fatally stabbed Ms. Khan after Minhas decided on a date, which was picked “because the son knew the mother would have cash on hand that day”. After the stabbing, Minhas is said to have paid Mohamed an undisclosed sum of money.

The murder had been planned for a month. On the morning of November 25, 2009, Minhas reported the discovery of his mother’s body after returning “from a rare night out alone”. In the course of the investigation, detectives came to believe that Minhas was involved in his mother’s murder.

On November 18 Minhas, who was a member of his high school’s law enforcement program, reported on MySpace that he was all good..waiting for things to happen”. He also wrote, “You would never see me get mad or angry … like never! I’m always smiling, but when it does happen, you know shit is about to go down!”
