Darwin, Australia: A 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he found a dramatic way to end an argument he was having with his ex-girlfriend – he jumped from her vehicle as she drove through Darwin’s CBD.
Australia’s ABC reports that police responded to Daly Street on a report of a man being run over. When they got there they found a man lying in the street – who told them that he had actually jumped out of his ex-girlfriend’s car, which was traveling at about 20 kilometers per hour at the time. He was taken to hospital for observation after suffering only minor injuries.
The man’s low-speed theatrics were not all in vain; his 19-year-old ex now has been left with some explaining to do after police discovered that she was driving while disqualified.
