Birthday ‘Kidnapping’ Ends In Cuffs

You can now add blindfolding your friend on the way to her surprise party to the big fat list of activities that can get you arrested.

When Courtney Rogers put a blindfold on her friend Briana Vega in a restaurant parking lot on the way to Vega’s surprise birthday party in Orlando Florida, two passers by apparently got the wrong idea. They thought that Vega was being kidnapped and called the police – who arrived minutes later.

According to Vega:

They were like “have you ever had a gun pointed at your face?” I was like “no I haven’t” and he was like “well that could have happened today, we could have had you on the hot pavement down on the ground with guns to your heads.” At that point I was freaked out.

The pair were handcuffed for 20 minutes and charged with murdering the English language disturbing the peace. [UPI; Image]
